Spreading Holiday Cheer Through Community, Celebration & Giving
Each December, our organization brings the Hermosa Beach community together to celebrate the holiday season while supporting local families in need. Through our signature event—the 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl & Charity Toy Drive—we invite residents, supporters, and partners to enjoy festive activities, connect with one another, and contribute to a meaningful cause.
With every bar visited and every toy donated, we strengthen our mission of giving back and bringing joy to children during the holidays. We welcome everyone to join us in transforming celebration into community impact.

Our Mission
The 12 Bars Hermosa Beach Charity Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to strengthening our community through celebration, service, and meaningful local partnerships. What started as a simple holiday pub crawl among friends has evolved into a beloved annual tradition—one that now brings joy, unity, and support to hundreds of families each season.
Why We Do It
We believe that joy and generosity are most powerful when shared. By uniting holiday festivities with charitable purpose, we help foster a more connected and compassionate Hermosa Beach. Through our annual toy drive, held in collaboration with the Hermosa Beach Police Department, we are able to provide direct support to families in need and ensure every child experiences the magic of the season.

Join us for one of Hermosa Beach’s favorite holiday traditions as we jingle our way down Pier Avenue and Hermosa Avenue in festive fashion!
Event Details
Date: Friday, December 13, 2025
Time: 7:00 PM – Midnight
Cost: Free to participate — simply bring a new, unwrapped toy 🎁
Dress Code: Embrace the holiday spirit with ugly sweaters, Santa suits, reindeer onesies, or anything festive!
Impact: All donated toys directly support the Hermosa Beach Police Department’s Annual Toy Drive, helping bring joy to local children during the holiday season.
🎁 Donate a Toy – Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event or drop it off at participating bars.
👯 Volunteer – Help us coordinate, decorate, and keep the festivities running smoothly.
